What makes us different? We take care of absolutely everything, from comprehensive administration and chaperone training to best-in-class pastoral care. It’s our mission to ensure that young actors are supported and nurtured by highly qualified chaperones and tutors who, in turn, ensure that their kids enjoy an adventure that is fun, rewarding, safe and memorable.
We can do this because we know exactly what it takes to make a production seamless. Fuelled by our long-established relationships in the entertainment industry, we enable our clients to provide the best possible experience for their young actors.
It’s important to have fun if you want to remain sane in the fast-paced world we live and work in – and that’s as true for children as it is for adults. Fun at work doesn’t compromise productivity, we believe it increases it. When you enjoy the people, you work with and the environment you work in, it’s easier to direct your passion towards developing deeper relationships and more rewarding experiences.
We all want to be treated fairly, to be heard and for people to be honest with us. That’s why at Theatre Kid we are always prepared to explain why we make the decisions we do including what is known, not known, and why now. Also, being honest with yourself and understanding why those tend to lean in a certain direction is key to how we like to manage situations fairly.
Being treated with mutual respect in any environment lets us all know that we are valued for our achievements, abilities, and qualities and this, in turn, helps to promote a positive work culture in which everyone feels fulfilled, loyal, engaged and motivated to perform at their very best.
Of course, it’s fun to be part of an exciting production but it’s important to balance that with other activities – and in the process create memories that will last a lifetime – such as days out visiting extraordinary locations.
